Work has officially begun on a new affordable housing development at Beck Lane in Skegby, bringing 33 much-needed homes to the Ashfield area.
The scheme will include a mix of two and three-bedroom properties, with 23 homes available for social rent and 10 offered through shared ownership, helping to meet growing local housing demand.
Designed with sustainability in mind, the energy-efficient homes will feature solar panels and EV charging points, with all properties expected to achieve an EPC A rating on completion. The development will also include measures to support local wildlife and biodiversity, including hedgehog-friendly fencing and a dedicated wildlife area.
