It is great to officially hand back Beeston Methodist Church on Friday, marking the completion of a fantastic refurbishment project.

The transformation includes a full reroof with new insulation and photovoltaic panels to the main church, helping improve both energy efficiency and sustainability. Inside, the ground floor has been newly insulated, and breathable lime plaster and paint have been used throughout to support the building’s long-term health.

One of the most striking changes is the removal of two-thirds of the old balcony, opening up the space to create a bright and flexible multipurpose area. This has completely changed the feel of the church, making it more welcoming and adaptable for both the congregation and the wider community.

It’s been a rewarding project to be part of, and it’s great to see the building ready for its next chapter.
